My Name is Darcie and I was born on July 23, 1981. I was born in Boston Massachusetts and now I live in New Hampshire.

I was born developmentally challenged which means that I am unable to do certain things like play sports.

I had to have many surgeries to fix certain parts of my body, that did not work well.

I need assistance with things such as walking in crowded or uneven territories because my legs are not strong enough and I can’t see as well as most people.

Another thing that I need are things written in large print and a large print keyboard because I can’t read small printing.

One of the things that I’m unable to do is drive so I need transportation to and from places. When I go on trips or to Boston I bring a wheelchair because I am unable to walk in crowded and unfamiliar places.

I was part of a theater group for special needs people called Play Among The Stars.
